물체를고정하기위한위치결정장치는기부판, 부착판, 및고정요소를포함한다. 기부판은부착판의돌출부가미끄러지는가이드를포함하여위치결정장치를개방위치에서폐쇄위치로변경할수 있다. 기부판은또한관형부재를수용하기위한수용부를포함하며, 이수용부는폐쇄위치에서수용부와고정요소에의해움직임이제한된다. 위치결정장치는또한작동중에폐쇄위치를유지하는것을돕는래치를포함할수 있다.

본발명은일반적으로현탁 CHO 세포중의재조합단백질의높은수준의발현에적합한시스템및 방법에관한것이다. 특히, 본발명은본 발명의도입이상기과정동안에성장배지를대체하거나재충전하거나보출할필요를제거하게끔한다. 본발명은또한현탁 CHO 세포를형질전환/형질감염시키는데유용한조성물및 키트에관한것이다.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive fluidics circuit capable of directing different fluids toward a common volume such as a reaction chamber or flow cell, etc. without entailing the mixing or cross contamination thereof.SOLUTION: Directions and velocities of flows streaming through junctions 335, nodal points 301, and passages of a fluidics circuit 302 are controlled depending on the opening or closure of an upstream valve, fluid pressure differences, flow path resistances, etc. of inlets 304, 306, 308, 310, and/or 312 of the circuit or an upstream storage unit. The free diffusion or leak of a fluid from a non-selected inlet in relation to a common outlet or another inlet specific to a junction or nodal point is prevented by the flow of the fluid through a selected inlet, whereas a portion of the flow of the fluid through the selected inlet passes through the vicinity of the non-selected fluid inlet and streams out of the fluidics circuit past a refuse port 345. A barrier against undesirable mixing with an outlet flow due to leak or diffusion is thus formed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus relating to a large scale FET for measuring an analyte.SOLUTION: ChemFET (e.g., ISFET) arrays may be manufactured by using conventional CMOS processing technique based on an improved FET pixel and array design that increase measurement sensitivity and accuracy, and at the same time facilitate significantly small pixel size and high-density arrays. Such arrays may be employed to detect presence and/or concentration change of an analyte of various types in a variety of chemical and/or biological processes. In one example, the chemFET arrays facilitate DNA sequencing technique based on monitoring change in hydrogen ion concentration (pH), change in other analyte concentration, and/or binding events associated with the chemical processes relating to DNA synthesis.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions and methods for the construction of nucleic acids comprising all or a portion of a viral genome. SOLUTION: The recombinant viral genome may be constructed to contain multiple recombination and/or topoisomerase recognition sites. The compositions include vectors having multiple recombination sites with unique specificity that contain all or a portion of a viral genome. The methods permit the insertion of a sequence of interest into a viral genome using recombinational and/or topoisomerase-mediated cloning. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis measurement method by light scatter which has ease of use and high detection sensitivity, and allows analyte measurement to be applied to a wide range of concentrations. SOLUTION: The methods are for enhancing a dynamic range for specific detection of one or a plurality of analytes in assays using scattered-light detectable particle labels, and are used together with resonance light scattering particle labels. Integrated light is detected for two or more exposure times so as to be in proportion to integrated light intensity, and signals of them are synthesized and the light is quantitated so as to enhance the dynamic range to either or both of lower and higher concentrations.
