Abstract: PURPOSE: A ceramic composition of lead-free piezoelectric for the ultrasonic sensor is provided to ensure high mechanical quality factor and piezoelectric properties and to realize low-temperature sintering by adding Zn nanopowder in (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3 composition. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic composition of lead-free piezoelectric for the ultrasonic sensor comprises (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3 and 1 ~ 10 mol% of zinc(Zn) nanopowder as an additive. An average particle size of the zinc(Zn)nanopowder is 20 ~ 200nm. A ceramic composition of lead-free piezoelectric is manufactured by setting a sintering temperature to 980 ~ 1060°C and the temperature is lower than the sintering temperature of general PZT powder with 1200°C ~ 1350°C.
