    Abstract: A glass substrate grinding apparatus is provided to tact time and prevent deflection of ends of a glass substrate during grinding of the glass substrate. A glass substrate grinding apparatus includes a first grinding wheel(4a), a second grinding wheel(4b), and a guide unit(6). The first grinding wheel has an outer surface contacting one corner of an edge of a glass substrate. The second grinding wheel is partially overlapped with the first grinding wheel, and has an outer surface contacting the other corner of the edge of the glass substrate. The guide unit is arranged in the vicinity of the first grinding wheel and the second grinding wheel, and guides movement of one end of the glass substrate. The guide unit includes a pair of guide panels arranged in the vicinity of one side and the other side of the end of the glass substrate, and end support portions formed at the guide panels facing the glass substrate.

    Abstract: A glass substrate table is provided to stably form vacuum pressure even with simple constitution, thereby stably holding a substrate, by forming an inner structure of the glass substrate table in a Bernoulli type so as to generate vacuum adsorptive power. A glass substrate table is used to hold a glass substrate on an upper surface thereof. The glass substrate has small-sized lines(32) and large-sized lines(31) therein, wherein the small-sized lines and the large-sized lines are continually connected so as to vary the speed of air stream. Vacuum lines(33) are respectively joined to the small-sized lines or the large-sized lines, wherein each of the vacuum lines is connected to a vacuum groove(6) formed in a surface of the glass substrate table.

    Abstract: A table for supporting a glass panel is provided to prevent the end of the glass panel from being drooped during rotation of the table when the longer side edge and the shorter side edge of the glass panel are sequentially ground. A table(10) for supporting a glass panel(11), includes a driving unit(12); a support unit(14) which is rotatably coupled to the driving unit, and supports the center of the glass panel; and a plurality of support arms(16) radially extended from the support unit in correspondence to the end of the glass panel. The support arms are extended by the length shorter than the distance from the support unit to the edge of the glass panel, and covered by the glass panel.
