Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for alleviating, treating, or preventing degenerative brain disease containing vanillin as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention significantly increases proliferation and differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells, significantly enhances inhibition of proliferation and differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells, and induces regeneration of neural stem cells. Thus, the present invention alleviates or treats decrease phenomenon of regeneration of neural stem cells caused by memory impairment disease and aging, and may be used as a composition for alleviating or treating degenerative brain disease without side effects by achieving stability.

Abstract translation: 本发明涉及用于缓解，治疗或预防含有香草醛作为活性成分的退行性脑病的组合物。 本发明的组合物显着增加内源性神经干细胞的增殖和分化，显着增强内源性神经干细胞的增殖和分化的抑制，并诱导神经干细胞的再生。 因此，本发明缓解或治疗由记忆障碍疾病和衰老引起的神经干细胞再生的减少现象，并且可以通过实现稳定性而用作缓解或治疗退行性脑疾病而没有副作用的组合物。
