PURPOSE: An O-methyltransferase mutant with improved rhamnetic production efficiency is provided to save rhamnetin production cost. CONSTITUTION: An O-methyltransferase mutant is obtained by three dimensional structure change of wild type O-methyltrasferase by molecular modeling. A base sequence encoding the O-methyltransferase is sequence 2. A recombinant microorganism is transformed by a recombinant vector containing the gene. The microorganism is selected from E.coli, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, and Streptococcus.

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a compound isolated from Platycodon grandiflorum is provided to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases. CONSTITUTION: A betulin of chemical formula 1 is isolated from Platycodon grandiflorum. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases contains the betulin of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. Cardiovascular diseases are congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease (myocardial ischemia), hyperlipidemia, artery scleroma, hypertension, hypotension, arrhythmia or cardiac insufficiency.

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate for anti-cancer is provided to suppress activation of Akt protein in cancer cells and suppress cancer cell proliferation. CONSTITUTION: An anti-cancer composition contains bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate of chemical formula 1. The composition suppresses cancer cell proliferation and induces apoptosis. The bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate is isolated from Aeromonas hydrophila. A method for isolating bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate comprises: a step of extracting Aeromonas hydrophila culture medium using solvent; a step of filtering and concentrating; and a step of isolating through chromatography. The solvent is alcohol including methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and ethyleneglycol, and halogen-substituted hydrocarbon including methylene chloride, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride.

An anti-cancer composition including depeptide separated from a bacillus species bacteria is provided to offer inhibition effect of AKT(Protein Kinase B; PKB) and to offer superior continence of cancer cells efficiently. A compound in a chemical formula 1 derived from a bacillus hinders protein kinase B. A barcillus is strain BA34 producing dipeptide. A method for refining and separating the chemical formula 1 includes a step for extracting the strain BA34 as a solvent, a step for filter and concentrating extract and a step for refining the compound to chromatography.
