CONSTITUTION: An O-methyltransferase mutant is obtained by three dimensional structure change of wild type O-methyltrasferase by molecular modeling. A base sequence encoding the O-methyltransferase is sequence 2. A recombinant microorganism is transformed by a recombinant vector containing the gene. The microorganism is selected from E.coli, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, and Streptococcus.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate for anti-cancer is provided to suppress activation of Akt protein in cancer cells and suppress cancer cell proliferation. CONSTITUTION: An anti-cancer composition contains bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate of chemical formula 1. The composition suppresses cancer cell proliferation and induces apoptosis. The bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate is isolated from Aeromonas hydrophila. A method for isolating bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate comprises: a step of extracting Aeromonas hydrophila culture medium using solvent; a step of filtering and concentrating; and a step of isolating through chromatography. The solvent is alcohol including methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and ethyleneglycol, and halogen-substituted hydrocarbon including methylene chloride, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride.
