Abstract: 본 발명은 레몬밤 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부미백 개선용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 구체적으로 자외선 조사된 레몬밤의 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 피부미백 개선용 조성물 및 상기 조성물을 이용한 피부미백용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따르면, 상기 레몬밤에 자외선을 조사시켜 플라보노이드의 함량이 증가된 레몬밤 추출물을 제조할 수 있다. 본 발명의 레몬밤 추출물은 일반 레몬밤 추출물에 비해 플라보노이드의 함량이 증가하여 항산화 효능이 높아졌으며, 버섯 티로시나제의 활성을 억제함을 확인하였다. 또한 마우스 멜라닌 세포의 멜라닌 합성량을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라 멜라닌 색소 형성에 관여하는 유전자 및 단백질의 발현을 동시에 억제하였다. 따라서 본 발명의 레몬밤 추출물은 피부미백 효과가 탁월하며, 이를 이용한 피부미백용 화장료 조성물의 활용이 기대된다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing lemon balm extract is provided to suppress melanin synthesis and to ensure antioxidation and skin whitening. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving skin whitening contains lemon balm extract as an active ingredient. The lemon balm is irradiated by UV ray for 10-30 days and is isolated using alcohol as a solvent. The composition is a cosmetic composition used in the form of skin lotion, skin softener, skin toner, astringent, pack, and soap. The composition contains an adjuvant and carrier.

Abstract: A skin whitening composition containing a puerarin or its derivative is provided to suppress the activation of tyrosinase and inhibit melanogenesis. A skin whitening composition comprises 0.0001-10 weight% of puerarin of the chemical formula 1 or its derivative as an active ingredient. The puerarin is obtained by extracting and purifying from Pueraria lobata Ohwi. The puerarin derivative is denoted by the chemical formula 2. In the chemical formula 2, R is alpha -1,6- glucosyl. The composition has the skin whitening effect by suppressing the expression of TRP-1(tryptophan biosynthesis 1) and TRP-2 genes and suppressing the protein expression of MITF(microphthalmia-associated transcription factor). The composition is used in a form of skin softener, astringent, nutrition skin, eye cream, nutrition cream, massage cream, cleansing cream, cleansing foam, cleansing water, powder, essence, and pack.
