Abstract: PURPOSE: An outer wall climbing device is provided to reduce a load which is applied to a horizontal rail by applying a docking mechanism between a horizontal moving unit and a lift unit. CONSTITUTION: An outer wall climbing device comprises a lift unit(200), a horizontal moving unit, a docking guide member, a docking guide unit, and a docking stabilization assembly(400). The lift unit vertically moves along a pair of vertical rails which is installed on the outer wall of a building. The horizontal moving unit horizontally moves along the movement of the lift unit while docking with the lift unit and horizontally moves along a pair of horizontal rail which is sequentially installed in the vertical direction. The docking guide member and docking guide unit docks and undocks the horizontal unit and the lift unit. The docking stabilization assembly applies first driving force which is independent to the self-driving of the horizontal moving unit for mounting the horizontal moving unit into a docking completion position. The docking stabilization assembly applies second driving force which is independent to the self-driving of the horizontal moving unit for separating the horizontal moving unit from the docking completion position.

Abstract: An outer wall climbing apparatus equipped with a brake portion according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a vertical rail that is equipped in a direction which is vertical to a bottom surface and on an outer wall of a building; a vertical moving module that is provided with a plurality of rail wheels and is equipped to be movable along the vertical rail in the direction which is vertical to a bottom surface of the building; and a brake portion that has a solenoid operation portion which is equipped in the vertical moving module, a brake pad portion which is equipped to be movably inserted into the vertical rail, and a link portion which is connected to the solenoid operation portion and the brake pad portion so as to change a position of the brake pad portion while in a link motion when the solenoid operation portion is in operation, and provides a braking force for the vertical moving module. The link portion has a link supporting member that is equipped in the vertical moving module; a first rotating shaft that is connected to the link supporting member; a first link bar that is equipped in the first rotating shaft to be rotatable at a predetermined angle with one end connected to the brake pad portion; and a second link bar that is connected to the other end of the first link bar and the solenoid operation portion. Preferably, the second link bar is operated to pull the other end of the first link bar in a first direction of movement while being moved in the same direction as the first direction of movement of the solenoid operation portion when an electric current is applied to the solenoid operation portion, and the first link bar rotates by a predetermined angle in a counterclockwise direction about the first rotating shaft so that the brake pad portion is pushed in the direction opposite to the first direction of movement and the brake pad portion is positioned to be in contact with the bottom surface of the vertical rail through the link motion.
