Abstract: A steering power reducing structure for a power steering system is provided to allow a driver to easily manipulate a steering handle by varying the diameter of a cylinder tip. A steering power reducing structure comprises an enlargement diameter section(17a) formed at two opposite sides of a cylinder(17) and a sealing member installed around a power piston(18). The sealing member has a hollow tube structure, which is compressed and expanded according to fluid introduced. A fluid path is formed at one side of the power piston so that the fluid is introduced into the sealing member. A plunger and a spring for supporting the plunger are installed at one side of a rack(15) to control internal pressure of the sealing member.

Abstract: A steering force control device using an orifice is provided to perform precise control according to the speed of a vehicle, and to effectively prevent noise and vibration due to the damping effect of the orifice and a fluid. A steering force control device includes a center shaft(25) inserted into a hollow shaft(21) connected to a gear box. The opposite end of the center shaft is inserted into the hollow shaft at a steering wheel side. The hollow shaft is generally coupled with the center shaft through teeth to be engaged with each other. The center shaft has a fan(26) at the center thereof, and a shielding plate(29) is fixed to move up and down in the fan. A housing(27) is formed as large as a space where the fan rotates and a fluid(28) is filled in the housing. Sealing members(33) are installed at lateral holes of the housing to prevent the fluid from leaking. A solenoid(32) is installed to an end of the fan and the shielding plate is disposed at the inner center of the fan.
