Abstract: PURPOSE: A window glass opening and closing apparatus of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to adjust temperature in a vehicle room by ventilating with automatically opening and closing the window glass in parking. CONSTITUTION: A window glass opening and closing device of a vehicle is composed of a lift unit(1) moving up and down a window glass; a manual operation switch(2) driving the lift unit; a converting switch(3) converting the manual mode or the automatic mode; a passenger sensor(4) detecting temperature of the vehicle room; a temperature sensor(5) detecting passengers in the vehicle; a window glass sensor detecting opening and closing of the window glass; and a control unit(6) applying an operating signal to the lift unit according to values from sensors in converting into the automatic mode. The window glass is automatically opened and closed according to the temperature of the vehicle.
