Abstract: Provided is an inspecting apparatus which can perform a dynamic test of characteristics in each direction of degree of freedom, to a fine structure having the degree of freedom in multiple directions, without direct contact with a movable section. The fine structure inspecting apparatus is provided with the movable section (16a) formed on a substrate (8), and evaluates the characteristics of at least one fine structure (16). The inspecting apparatus is provided with a probe (4a) which electrically connects with a pad (8a) formed on the fine structure (16) for extracting the electric signal of the fine structure (16); a plurality of nozzles (10) arranged in the vicinity of the movable section (16a) of the fine structure (16) for blowing out or sucking gas; a nozzle flow quantity control section (3) for controlling the flow quantity of the air to be blown out or sucked from the nozzles (10); and an evaluating means, which detects displacement of the movable section (16a) applied by the gas blown out or sucked from the nozzles (10) by an electric signal obtained through a probe (4a) and evaluates the characteristics of the fine structure (16) based on the detection results.
