Abstract: PURPOSE: A development processing method and apparatus using a developing solution containing an organic solvent are provided to improve melting and removal rates of a resist film by maintaining a liquid film of the developing solution to be thin. CONSTITUTION: A wafer is rotated by a rotary drive mechanism(S1). A developing nozzle is carried from a peripheral portion of the wafer to an upper portion of a central portion(S2). A developing solution is provided from the developing nozzle to the central portion of the wafer(S3).
