    Abstract: PURPOSE: Nanoemulsion based on ethoxylated fatty ether or ethoxylated fatty ester is provided to give the stability of storage, the maintenance of good transparency and the incorporation of bulky oil with good cosmetic property. In addition to the nanoemulsion above, their use in cosmetics, skin science and/or ophthalmology are provided. CONSTITUTION: A nanoemulsion is comprised of oil phase dispersed in water phase, has less than 100 nm of number average size of oil sphere, contains surfactants be solid state at less than 45°C and selected from ethoxylated fatty ether or ethoxylated fatty ester, has also at least one oil having more than 400 of molecular weight, and has 2 to 10 at their ratios of oil phase for amount of the surfactant. The nanoemulsion is characterized in that its turbidity is 60 to 600 NTUs. The amount of the surfactant is characterized by being 0.2 to 15wt%, and preferably 3 to 6 wt.% based on total weight of nanoemulsion.
