A composition comprising a novel double-stranded RNA oligonucleotide is provided to decrease expression of tyrosinase, thereby being used to prevent formation and eliminating pigmentation marks and preventing skin browning. A cosmetic composition comprises at least one double-stranded RNA oligonucleotide of a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID : NOs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47 together with a population of cationic particulates less than or equal to 1 micrometer in size, and having a zeta potential ranging from 10 to 80 mV, wherein the composition prevents the formation of and/or eliminating pigmentation marks, and/or senescence marks, and/or for lightening and/or bleaching browned skin and/or rendering the color of browned skin uniformly.

PURPOSE: Nanoemulsion based on ethoxylated fatty ether or ethoxylated fatty ester is provided to give the stability of storage, the maintenance of good transparency and the incorporation of bulky oil with good cosmetic property. In addition to the nanoemulsion above, their use in cosmetics, skin science and/or ophthalmology are provided. CONSTITUTION: A nanoemulsion is comprised of oil phase dispersed in water phase, has less than 100 nm of number average size of oil sphere, contains surfactants be solid state at less than 45°C and selected from ethoxylated fatty ether or ethoxylated fatty ester, has also at least one oil having more than 400 of molecular weight, and has 2 to 10 at their ratios of oil phase for amount of the surfactant. The nanoemulsion is characterized in that its turbidity is 60 to 600 NTUs. The amount of the surfactant is characterized by being 0.2 to 15wt%, and preferably 3 to 6 wt.% based on total weight of nanoemulsion.

PURPOSE: A nanoemulsion based on fatty esters of glycerol which is stable in storage and keeps good transparency and has good make-up property and is able to contain a lot of oil and uses thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: In a nanoemulsion consisting of an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase and having an average size of the oil sphere of less than 100 nanometer, it comprises a surfactant which is a solid at a temperature of under 45°C and is selected from fatty esters of glycerol and at least one oil having molecular weight of not less than 400 and the weight ratio of the amount of the surfactant to the amount of the oily phase is 2-10. The nanoemulsion is used in the fields of cosmetics and dermatology, particularly in moisturizing the skin and/or mucous membrane and in the treatment of hair, and ophthalmology as an eye-lotion for the treatment of eye.

Nanocapsules comprising the following components are new: (a) a lipid core comprising a lipophilic active ingredient (I); and (b) a water-insoluble shell comprising a water-dispersible anionic polymer (II) selected from polyesters, poly(ester amides), polyurethanes, vinyl copolymers, shellac, sandarac gum and dammars. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cosmetic or dermatological composition containing the nanocapsules in a carrier; (2) a process for producing the nanocapsules, comprising: (i) dissolving a lipid phase comprising (I) and optionally a coating agent in a nontoxic organic solvent having a lower boiling point than water; (ii) preparing an aqueous dispersion of (II); (iii) adding a hydrophilic surfactant to the dispersion; (iv) combining the organic phase of (i) with the organic phase of (iii); and (v) evaporating the organic solvent and optionally part of the aqueous phase; (3) a process for producing the nanocapsules, comprising: (i) dissolving (II), a lipid phase comprising (I) and optionally a coating agent in a water-miscible organic solvent; (ii) pouring the solution into an aqueous surfactant solution; and (iii) evaporating the organic solvent and optionally part of the aqueous phase.

An oil-in-water nanoemulsion with a droplet size of less than 100 nm contains an oil (I) with a molecular weight above 400 and an alkyl ether citrate surfactant (II), the weight ratio of oil phase to (II) being 2-10:1. An Independent claim is also included for production of the composition by mixing the aqueous phase with the oil phase under vigorous agitation at 10-80 degrees C and homogenizing the mixture at 60-180 MPa.

PURPOSE: Nanoemulsion from alkoxylated alkenyl succinate or alkoxylate alkenyl succinate of glucose, and its preparation method are provided, for moisturizing the skin and/or mucous membrane or treating the eyes in cosmetics, dermatology, ophthalmology and/or pharmaceutics. CONSTITUTION: A nanoemulsion comprises 0.2-15 wt% of at least one surfactant selected from alkoxylated alkenyl succinate, alkoxylated alkenyl succinate of glucose and alkoxylated alkenyl succinate of methylglucose; at least one oil whose molecular weight is more than 400; optionally 0.01-5 wt% of at least one ionic amphiphilic lipid selected from the group consisting of anionic amphiphilic lipids and alkylsulfonic acid derivatives; 0.01-30 wt% of optionally additives for improving transparency, selected from alcohols of low molecular weight, glycol, sugar and their mixture; and optionally cosmetic, dermatological, ophthalmological or pharmaceutical active ingredients, wherein the ratio of the oil to the surfactant is 2-10, preferably 3-6 by weight, and the nanoemulsion contains the oil phase diffused in oil drop and aqueous phase whose number mean size is less than 100 nm. The nanoemulsion is prepared by stirring the aqueous phase and the oily phase strongly at the temperature of 10-80°C to mix them; and homogenizing the mixture at the pressure of 6X10¬6 - 18X10¬7 Pa.
