Abstract: An apparatus and a method for changing time information in a communication terminal are provided to change the time information correspondingly to a changed time zone that the communication terminal currently enters, thereby allowing a user to recognize a schedule or an alarm time easily in the changed time zone. A memory unit(220) stores time information having the time of a first time zone and a reference time, wherein the reference time is calculated from the time of the first time zone. A display unit(250) displays a time information list stored in the memory unit, by the request of a user, when a mobile phone enters a second time zone. When the time information is selected from the time information list, a controller(230) calculates the time of the second time zone from the reference time of the time information, and changes the time of the first time zone into the calculated time of the second time zone.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for displaying a phone number are provided to display an image together with a phone number when a user searches for the phone number, thereby allowing the user to know conversation interval time.
