Abstract: An apparatus for controlling an image offset of an LCD projector and a portable terminal employing the same are provided to enable a user to control a size or a position of a wanted screen according to an external environment without other special screen unit. An apparatus for controlling an image offset of an LCD projector includes a projecting lens unit(14), a lens housing(11), a rotating unit(12), and a controller(13). The projecting lens unit, having plural projecting lenses, arranges LCD panels at different positions in order to have different image offsets. The lens housing installs the projecting lenses near one another. The rotating unit rotates the lens housing. The controller controls the rotating unit such that the project lens is selected by rotating the lens housing in order for a user to select a wanted image offset.

Abstract: An A/V data synchronization apparatus for transmitting non-compression A/V data is provided to transmit A/V data which are not compressed to an external device to be synchronized to moving picture play time. A video buffer(102) stores decoded video data, and outputs a corresponding video data bit according to a control signal. An audio buffer(104) stores decoded audio data, and outputs a corresponding audio data bit according to the control signal. A mapper(110) modulates inputted data bits as symbols having information of a predetermined size, and successively assigns the respective symbols to a sub-carrier of IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform). At least one or more IFFT units(120,122,124,126) perform the IFFT of the inputted symbols. A buffer control unit(100) obtains a ratio of data quantities between video data and audio data per second, and calculates a ratio of data quantities per second of integral times capable of being least assigned to a null sub-carrier to which data are not assigned when the symbols of the video data bit and the audio data bit are assigned to the sub-carrier of the IFFT. The buffer control unit(100) controls the video buffer(102) and the audio buffer(104) to output the video data bit and the audio data bit to the mapper(110) according to the calculated ratio of the data quantities per second of the integral times.
