Abstract: 본 발명은 단말기에서 적어도 하나의 레코드에 포함된 다수의 필드를 디스플레이하기 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
이를 위해 본 발명은 적어도 하나의 레코드에 포함된 다수의 필드를 화면에 디스플레이하기 위한 요청이 있고, 소정의 필드 항목에 대한 고정 필드 항목이 있으면 고정 필드 항목을 포함하는 필드 항목에 대응되는 필드들을 미리 설정된 개수 만큼 화면에 디스플레이하고, 현재 화면에 디스플레이된 필드들의 위치에 다음 필드들을 디스플레이하기 위한 요청이 있으면 현재 화면에 디스플레이된 필드 항목에 대응되는 필드들 중 고정 필드 항목에 대응되는 필드들을 제외한 나머지 필드들의 위치에 다음 필드들을 디스플레이하여 화면에 다수의 필드를 디스플레이함으로써 사용자가 화면에 디스플레이된 각각의 필드들을 편리하게 비교할 수 있게 된다.

본 발명에 의하여, 단말이 지그비 네트워크에 접속하지 않고, 지그비 네트워크 상의 다른 단말이 제공하는 서비스를 검색할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 그리고 종래 기술에 따라 서비스 검색을 위해 단말이 불필요한 접속 및 해제를 함으로써 발생하는 불필요한 네트워크 자원의 소모나 시간의 낭비를 줄이는 효과를 가져온다.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for selecting a menu in a portable terminal are provided to enable a user to select conveniently a desired menu by additionally providing a wrist wearable-type portable terminal with the first input unit and the second input unit to select a menu.
