무기물층의형성방법에관해개시되어있다. 개시된무기물층의형성방법은무기물의소오스층을레이저로어닐링하여무기물층으로변화시키는단계를포함할수 있다. 상기소오스층은반고체(semisolid) 상태일수 있다. 상기어닐링전, 예컨대, 전기유체역학적리소그래피(electrohydrodynamic lithography)(EHL) 법으로상기소오스층을패터닝할수 있다.

개시된 전기변색을 이용한 디스플레이 장치는 전기변색 소자; 이 전기변색 소자의 상부전극과 전기적으로 연결되는 제1 전극; 및 전기변색 소자의 하부전극과 전기적으로 연결되는 제2 전극;을 포함한다. 여기서, 상기 제1 전극과 제2 전극을 단락시킴으로써 원하는 픽셀을 소정 색상으로 변색시킬 수 있다.

PURPOSE: An electrochromic element is provided to increase a response speed and color stability. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode faces a second electrode. An electrochromic layer(14) is located between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrochromic layer comprises electrochromic materials. An electrolyte(30) contacts the electrochromic layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrolyte comprises electron accepting molecules.

PURPOSE: A reflective polymer dispersed liquid crystal display device is provided to add a chain transfer agent or a polish to a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer, thereby reducing reflectivity by a specular reflection plate while a voltage is not applied or increasing scattering of visible light by exciting ultraviolet rays while a voltage is applied. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first and second electrodes(112,122) are formed on first and second substrates(110,120). A polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer(130) is formed between the first and second electrodes. The polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer includes a polymer(133), a liquid crystal(131), and a chain transfer agent. A specular reflection plate(140) is formed on the first substrate.

PURPOSE: A display device including an active type semi-transmission device is provided, which can use efficiently light entering from only the front side of the display panel but also the back side. CONSTITUTION: A display device including an active type semi-transmission device comprises an active type semi-transmission device(200) and a display panel(300). In the active type semi-transmission device, transmittance and reflectivity about the light are electrically controlled. The display panel forms an image by modulating the light reflected or transmitted by the active type semi-transmission device.

A method for selectively etching a thin film deposited on a vertical structure is provided to form desired various patterns by selectively etching a thin film deposited on a vertical structure by a simple process. A vertical structure(20) is formed on a substrate(10) by using a first material. A thin film is deposited on the outer surface of the vertical structure by using a second material. A resist material is deposited on the substrate so that the lateral lower part of the thin film is covered with the resist material and the upright upper part and the lateral upper part of the thin film are exposed. The upright upper part and the lateral upper part of the thin film are wet-etched to expose the upper region of the vertical structure surrounded by the upright upper part and the lateral upper part of the thin film. The resist material is removed. The vertical structure can be made of one of a nano wire, a post or a cylinder.
