Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a nano wire memory device and a control system for forming a nano wire used are provided to form the nano wire in position and to improve the yield of a memory cell by forming one nano wire between an electrode and a dummy electrode using a CMOS logic. An electrode(40) and a dummy electrode(42) are formed on a substrate. The current between the electrode and the dummy electrode is measured and a nano wire(44) is formed between the electrode and the dummy electrode. When the measure current is the same as a given value, the power source applied between the electrode and the dummy electrode is blocked. The dummy electrode is removed. The nano wire forming process is performed by using a predetermined system composed of a switching logic and a current monitor under composite electric field conditions. A CMOS logic is used as the predetermined system.

An HDD(Hard Disk Drive) having a function of sensing a fall as sheltering a head in case of fall impact is provided to previously sense whether a free fall of a device occurs, and to shelter a read/write head taking charge of recording/reproducing of data to a safe parking position, thereby obtaining impact resistance performance required in a mobile environment. A flying height sensor measures height in which a rotating body flies on a spindle motor(100), in real time. A monitor unit monitors the flying height detected from the sensor, and generates a free fall signal if it is decided that an HDD is in the free fall state. A central controller starts to shelter a read/write head(161) by responding to the free fall signal. The flying height sensor is positioned on a base member mounted with the spindle motor, and measures the flying height of the rotating body from the base member to output the measured height as an electric signal.

A hard disk and a spindle motor assembly are provided to remove a hollow from a central part of the hard disk, thus a manufacturing process is simplified while the hard disk is fixed to a spindle motor even without using a disk clamp. A spindle motor(130) has a hub(134) which rotates on the outer circumference of a shaft(132). A hard disk(120) for data storage is mounted on the spindle motor(130), and has a disk shape without a hollow. A clamping screw(122) coupled with the spindle motor(130) is adhered to a central part of a side of the hard disc which turns towards the spindle motor(130). A head part(124) of the screw(122) is adhered to a spindle motor opposing surface of the disk(120) while a screw part(125) of the screw(122) is coupled with a screw coupling hole(135) formed in a shaft upper section of the spindle motor(130).

A fluid dynamic bearing is constructed to support stably a rotating body to which a non-uniform force is applied, and a hard disk drive (HDD) employing the fluid dynamic bearing is provided. The fluid dynamic bearing includes a journal bearing part supporting a rotary shaft in a radial direction of the rotary shaft, a thrust part formed at one end of the rotary shaft, a thrust bearing part facing the thrust part and supporting the rotary shaft in a longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft, and a plurality of grooves formed on a surface of the thrust bearing part and/or the thrust part. The plurality of grooves include a first groove group including a plurality of grooves having the same shape and arrangement, and a second groove group adjacent to the first groove group and including at least one groove asymmetric with respect to the grooves of the first groove group.

본 발명에 의하면 내충격 특성이 향상된 하드 디스크 드라이브가 개시된다. 개시된 하드 디스크 드라이브는 프레임 부재 상에 장착된 스핀들 모터, 스핀들 모터에 끼워져서 함께 회전되는 적어도 하나 이상의 데이터 기록용 디스크, 프레임 부재 상에 피봇되어 선회 동작하면서, 자신의 일 측에 탑재된 슬라이더를 디스크 상의 소정 위치로 이동시키는 액츄에이터, 디스크의 외곽에 마련된 것으로, 슬라이더의 파킹시 액츄에이터의 선단을 지지하는 램프 및 램프의 위쪽에서 프레임 부재와 마주보게 조립되는 커버 부재를 포함하되, 커버 부재에는, 램프의 적어도 일부를 향해 돌출된 돌출부가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 개시된 하드 디스크 드라이브에 의하면, 외부 충격시 수반되는 서스펜션의 탄성 진동을 소정 범위로 제한함으로써, 서스펜션에 부착된 읽기/쓰기 헤드의 외적 손상을 방지하고, 상기 서스펜션의 변형이 방지되어 데이터의 기록/재생시에 헤드의 부상(flying) 안정성이 확보되는 등의 내충격 특성이 개선되는 효과가 있다.

A spindle motor assembly and an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) employing the assembly are provided to adopt a CSS(Contact Start Stop) method, and to comprise a vibration limiting unit for limiting vibration of a suspension to a predetermined range, thereby preventing a read/write head attached to the suspension from being physically damaged while improving impact resistance. An information storage disk(150) records or reproduces predetermined data by a read/write head(138), and is equipped with an area(P) where the head(138) is parked. A spindle motor(160) rotatively drives the disk(150), and has a hub into which the disk(150) is inserted. A clamp member(120) fixes the disk(150) to the hub by being pressurized on and contacted with the disk(150). A vibration limiting unit(125) disposed in a ring-shaped rim type is formed on an outer edge of the clamp member(120) so as to vertically face the parking area(P) at a spare interval.

An actuator and an HDD(Hard Disc Drive) adopting the same are provided to accurately control a clearance between a disc and a disc recording surface by restraining clamping modification accompanied to a head stack assembly. At least two or more arm members(121,141) are mutually and horizontally extended. A spacer(130), inserted between the arm members(121,141) to closely adhere to the arm members(121,141), uniformly maintains an interval between the arm members(121,141). A stepped difference part(131) is formed in the spacer(130) to be faced and contacted with the arm members(121,141). A pivot member(110) passes through holes(121',130',141') formed in the arm members(121,141) and the spacer(130). The pivot member(110), connected as one laminated body with the arm members(121,141) and the spacer(130), provides the rotary center of the laminated body. A nut member(153), combined to an end part of the pivot member(110) by a screw, clamps and couples the arm members(121,141) and the spacer(130) together with the pivot member(110). The stepped difference part(131) has a contact surface of a ring shape.

An actuator and an HDD(Hard Disc Drive) with the same are provided to improve a dynamic characteristic of unloading and improve a resistance shock through the increase of a gram load of a suspension by forming a retract magnetic body to which bias rotational force is supplied. A suspension(133) to which a read/write head(134) for record and reproduction is attached is installed in a front end of a swing arm(132). The swing arm(132) is rotated and operated centering around a pivot axis. A coil supporting member(136) is combined to a rear end part of the swing arm(132), and is rotated together with the swing arm(132). A VCM(Voice Coil Motor) coil(137) is assembled in the coil supporting member(136). A magnet(150) is disposed in at least one of upper and lower sides to be faced with the VCM coil(137). At least one retract magnetic body(140) is formed as magnetic material, and is assembled in the coil supporting member(136) in a position adjacent to the magnet(150) to which the bias rotational force of a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction centering around the pivot axis is supplied by the magnet(150).
