Abstract: The present invention relates to a variable area tidal current power turbine, a manufacturing method thereof, and a tidal current power method using the same. The purpose is to provide a variable area tidal current power turbine, a manufacturing method thereof, and a tidal current power method using the same capable of producing power at a fluid velocity lower than predetermined intensity by maximizing forward direction rotation force by controlling a distance between an area of each blade and a central shaft. For this, the variable area tidal current power turbine includes a central member, a top plate covering the central member by being installed on the top of the central member and having a top track forming an eccentricity track for the central member formed on its bottom, a bottom track covering the central member by being installed on the bottom of the central member and having a bottom track forming an eccentricity track for the central member formed on its top, and a plurality of blade parts installed around the central member. The blade parts change its area as a distance between the central member and the eccentricity track and rotate the central member while rotating around the eccentricity track.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A tidal current generator is provided to install a tidal induction plate, which is extended from one side of a guide vane to a direction in which a tidal current flows, inside a duct, thereby preventing the tidal current from being stagnated by the guide vane. CONSTITUTION: A tidal current generator comprises a duct(100), a rotary shaft(200), plural blades(300), and a guide vane(400). The duct forms a water path for the inflow and the outflow of a tidal current. The rotary shaft is installed inside the duct to be vertical to the tidal current direction. The blades are radially installed at the external surface of the rotary shaft, and are rotated by the tidal current which flows inside the duct. The guide vane is formed to protrude inside the duct in order to surround the blades which receive an external force in an opposite direction to the rotary direction by the tidal current which flows inside the duct. A tidal induction plate, extended to a direction in which the tidal current flows and is coupled to the internal surface of the duct, is installed at one end of the guide vane. Two guide vanes are respectively installed at the left and right side of the rotary shaft to be mutually symmetric in a diagonal direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A turbine for tidal current generation is provided to prevent the lift force deterioration of a blade due to flow separation, thereby increasing the rotation efficiency of the blade for improving power generation efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A turbine for tidal current generation comprises a hub(100), plural blades(200), a generator assembly(300), and plural guides(210). The hub is rotatably installed under sea surface. The plural blades are radially installed at the external surface of the hub. The generator assembly is coupled to the hub, and receives the rotary force of the hub in order to generate electric energy. The plural guides are formed to protrude on the surfaces of the blades, and block the flow of a radially tidal current which occurs along the longitudinal surfaces of the blades. The guides are formed to protrude on the front ends of the blades for being connected with the hub and the blades. The guides protrude to be inclined to the longitudinal direction of the blades at certain angles(α).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for testing a sample of a tidal wave generating turbine is provided to easily control a moving speed of a towing carriage by controlling a motor so that a performance analysis of a tidal wave generating turbine with respect to various velocities can be rapidly performed. CONSTITUTION: A system for testing a sample of a tidal wave generating turbine comprises a towing tank(100), a towing carriage(200), a vertical rotating shaft(310), a sample turbine(300), and a small generator(400). The towing carriage is horizontally moved along above a water surface of the towing tank. The vertical rotating shaft is joined to the lower part of the towing carriage.
