    Abstract: A novel multi-substituted tetrahydrofuran derivative is provided to simply manufacture a compound through one-pot reaction and enhance the efficiency of manufacturing. A multi-substituted tetrahydofuran compound is denoted by the chemical formula 1. A method for manufacturing the multi-substituted tetrahydofuran compound comprises: a step of mixing a starting material of the chemical formula 2 to resolve; a step of putting a catalyst of the chemical formula 6 and compound of the chemical formula 7 to produce an intermediate; and a step of putting a compound of the chemical formula 8 or 9.

    Abstract: A novel penal preparing method is provided to obtain 3-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(1-methylethyl)-1H-indole-2-yl]-2-propenal through a simple process with high yield. A method for preparing 3-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(1-methylethyl)-1H-indole-2-yl]-2-propenal represented by a formula(1) comprises a step of reacting 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-isopropyl-1H-indole represented by a formula(2) with propioaldehyde represented by a formula(4) at a temperature of 0-25 deg.C in the presence of an acid. Further, the acid is SnCl4.
