Abstract: The present invention relates to novel peptides and uses thereof, and more particularly, to a peptide having an anti-inflammatory effect, a polynucleotide coding the peptide, a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of inflammatory diseases containing the peptide or the polynucleotide, an anti-inflammatory agent, a quasi-drug composition for prevention or improvement of inflammation containing the peptide, a health functional food composition for alleviation or improvement of inflammation, a cosmetic composition for prevention or improvement of inflammation, a method for treating inflammatory diseases, comprising a step of administering the pharmaceutical composition to a suspected object with inflammatory disease, a method for preparing a mimetic of the peptide, and a method for designing the mimetic of the peptide.
