Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차용 인휠모터의 냉각장치에 관한 것으로, 인휠모터(5)가 내부에 설치되고, 외주면에 차량용 타이어(7)가 결합 되는 바퀴 휠(20) 및 상기 바퀴 휠(20)의 내주면에 설치되어 자동차(1)의 주행시 차륜(3)이 회전될 때에 외부로부터의 공기가 상기 인휠모터(5)를 향해 유동되어 상기 인휠모터(5)를 냉각시키도록 구비된 공냉 블레이드(30)를 포함하는 포함하는 구성을 마련한다.
상기와 같은 자동차용 인휠모터의 냉각장치를 이용하는 것에 의해, 본 발명은 하이브리드 자동차, 연료전지 자동차 및 전기자동차 등에 적용되는 인휠모터를 공냉식으로 냉각시키면서도 냉각효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus for a vehicle in-wheel motor cools in an air cooling method an in-wheel motor applied to a hybrid vehicle, a fuel cell vehicle, and an electric vehicle, improving the cooling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An in-wheel motor (5) is installed inside a wheel (20). In the outer periphery of the wheel, a tire for vehicle (7) is combined. An air cooler blade (30) is installed at the inner periphery of the wheel. The air cooler blade cools an in-wheel motor by flowing air flowed in from the outside toward the in-wheel motor. The air cooler blade is separated according to the inner periphery of the wheel.
