    Abstract: PURPOSE: An indigo composition is provided to be harmful for human body, to have high fastness when dyeing, to be used in dyeing without indigo pre-treatment and to have excellent dyeing effect. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an indigo composition comprises: a step of extracting polygonum indigo by hot water, pulverizing the extract condensation, freeze-drying and crushing the extract to manufacture an indican powder; a step of polygonum leaf in the shade and pulverizing the polygonum leaf to manufacture polygonum powder; a step of drying and pulverizing a gall tannin and glucose powder; a step of storing the mixture of the indican powder, the polygonum powder and the mixture of the gall tannin and glucose powder at room temperature; and a step of adding water to the mixture and oxidizing the mixture.
