Abstract: An aeration method of a membrane bioreactor is provided to reduce running cost by reducing backwashing or chemical cleaning frequency, and removing a bio-membrane efficiently in consideration of the structure property of the bio-membrane. An aeration method of a membrane bioreactor is formed to remove a bio-membrane which is formed on the surface of a separation membrane dipped in a bioreactor for water treatment. The method includes a step for increasing aeration intensity of the separation membrane which is near to a suction pump. The aeration intensity is increased according to a longitudinal direction of the separation membrane. The aeration is performed on a part which is neat the end of the suction pump according to the longitudinal direction of the separation membrane. The dipped separation membrane is a hollow fiber membrane or a tubular membrane.

Abstract: 본 발명은 수처리용 분리막 생물 반응조(membrane bioreactor, MBR) 장치에서 운전이 진행됨에 따라 분리막 표면에서 성장하는 생물막(biofilm)에 의해 야기되는 생물막오염(biofouling)을 억제하는 기술에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 생물막 형성을 억제할 수 있는 정족수 감지 억제 효소를 고정화시킨 자성 담체와, 이를 이용하여 효소의 유실 내지는 비활성화 없이 안정적으로 운전할 수 있는 분리막 생물반응조 수처리 공정에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: A magnetic carrier and a membrane bioreactor system for water treatment using the same are provided to improve the filtration performance of membranes, recycle the enzyme and stably operate the water treatment process for a long time compared to the conventional membrane bioreactor process. A magnetic carrier comprises a magnetic core, an enzyme immobilizing layer formed on the magnetic core, and an enzyme for inhibiting the biofilm formation which is immobilized onto the enzyme immobilizing layer. The magnetic core is powders, particles, beads, or resins comprising magnetic substances. The enzyme immobilizing layer is laid up on the magnetic core by an electrostatic interaction. The enzyme immobilizing layer is formed of chitosan, poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) or cellulose. The enzyme for inhibiting the biofilm formation is a quorum sensing inhibition enzyme.

Abstract: An antibacterial furanone derivative is provided to function as a quorum sensing antagonist, which interrupts communication among bacteria due to a chemical structure similar to a material used for the communication of the bacteria, thereby being used for preventing formation of a biofilm. A method for preventing formation of a biofilm comprises a step of contacting an antibacterial furanone derivative represented by a formula(1)(wherein R is C1-10 alkyl or C1-10 haloalkyl) with microorganism to inhibit the formation of the biofilm, wherein the antibacterial furanone derivative is represented by a formula(2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) or (8) and the microorganism includes Gram negative bacillus.
