    Abstract: It has been known that seaweed sporophyl is effective in maintaining the body balance since it is enriched with minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and ascorbic acid. As the efficacy of the seaweed sporophyl is recently known, many research on the seaweed sporophyl are being conducted. The present invention is to provide cosmetics having anti-oxidizing, whitening, and moisturizing effects by extracting effective ingredients from seaweed sporphyl left in the sea. For achieving the purpose, the present invention provides a method for extracting anti-oxidant functional cosmetic raw material using seaweed sporophyl by performing a sample pulverizing procedure after measurement of moisture content, a yield measuring procedure and a biological activity measuring procedure after extraction according to elution conditions, filtration, and drying, and then a heavy metal analyzing procedure as a safety test of byproducts after extraction of final seaweed sporophyl, in order to establish optimal conditions for extracting components in the seaweed sporophyl.     Abstract: The head part of seaweed (sporophyl) is known to be efficient for the balance maintenance of a body by having enough minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and potassium and having vitamins including thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin, or ascorbic acid. Recently, the effects of the head part of seaweed are known and many researches on the effects are conducted. The present invention provides cosmetics which have whitening and moisturizing effects by extracting the active ingredients of the head part of the seaweed which is thrown out to sea. To achieve the purpose, the present invention provides the method for extracting the raw materials for whitening function cosmetics using the head part of seaweed and the whitening function cosmetics by performing: a specimen pulverizing process after measuring a moisture content in order to establish the optimal extraction condition of components in the head part of the seaweed; a yield rate measuring process after extracting, filtering, and drying the specimen according to elution conditions; a biological activity measuring process for an anti-oxidative activity and a whitening; and a heavy metal analyzing process as a safety inspection on byproducts after extracting other various head parts of seaweed.
