Abstract: An artificial intervertebral disc comprising a disc cell and a method of regenerating a tissue engineered disc using the same disc cell are provided to regenerate a disc using an artificial disc comprising a scaffold having the inside and outside comprising different component. An artificial intervertebral disc comprising a disc cell includes: an inside disc including a disc central shaft in a disc shape and comprising biodegradable porous scaffold including nucleus pulposus cells; and an outside disc surrounding the inside disc in a doughnut shape, and comprising biodegradable porous scaffold including annulus fibrous cells. The artificial intervertebral disc further includes a natural or synthetic biomaterial added to the biodegradable porous scaffold of the inside or the outside of the disc.

Abstract: A method for differentiating mesenchymal stem cells into neurons is provided to induce the differentiation of the mesenchymal stem cells into the neurons effectively using a poly lactic acid-co-glycolic acid(PLGA) film and show excellent efficiency compared with the differentiation into the neurons using a conventional culture solution. A method for differentiating mesenchymal stem cells into neurons comprises a step of differentiating the mesenchymal stem cells on a poly lactic acid-co-glycolic acid(PLGA) film including neurogenic differentiation inducing materials such as butylated hydroxy anisole(BHA), beta-mercaptoethanol and dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO), wherein the mesenchymal stem cells are pre-treated with a basic-fibroblast growth factor for 12-24 hours.
