    Abstract: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an optical film, an optical film manufactured by the same, and a liquid crystal display including an optical film. The manufacturing method of an optical film includes the steps of: melting and extruding a non-liquid crystalline thermoplastic resin; and enabling the melted and extruded non-liquid crystalline thermoplastic resin to pass into the space between a first forming roll and a second forming roll. The surface temperatures of the first and second forming rolls are equal to or less than a glass transition temperature (Tg) of the thermoplastic resin. Different shear forces are generated on the surface of the film and the inside of the film according to the operation of the first and second forming rolls to apply a tilt angle to the film. The non-liquid crystalline thermoplastic resin is extruded to form a multi-layered structure.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A light diffusion plate of liquid crystal display is provided to check wavelength range in which transparent resin accomplishing the light diffusion plate for the back light unit of the liquid crystal display device is vulnerable, and to improve light-proof on ultraviolet ray by applying UV stabilizer showing relatively superior absorption ability on vulnerable wavelength range. CONSTITUTION: The benzotriazole based first UV stabilizer includes 0.05 to 1.00 parts by weight having polycarbonate resin 100 parts by weight standard and absorbs the ultraviolet ray of 280nm to 300nm wavelength range more superior than other wavelength range. The triazine based second UV stabilizer includes 0.05 to 1.00 parts by weight having polycarbonate resin 100 parts by weight standard and absorbs the ultraviolet ray of 300nm to 320nm wavelength range more superior than other wavelength range. The light diffusion plate(100) uses co-extruder and co-extrudes the base layer(110) and skin layer(120). The surface of the base layer is formed in flat surface or having pattern of lenticular shape of elliptic shape, embossing shape, prism shape etc.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a light diffusion plate which includes a light incident surface where the light comes in and a light radiating surface facing the light incident surface where the light goes out. A plurality of unit lens is formed on the light incident surface and integrated to the light diffusion plate to have a spaced plane. A diffusion pattern unit including a plurality of optical members on all areas facing the unit lens is included on the light radiating surface. The light diffusion plate has excellent light efficiency and integrates the unit lens and the diffusion pattern unit to ensure the manufacturing efficiency and economic feasibility. The present invention can also reduce the length of an air gap when applied to a backlight unit so that the backlight unit can be manufactured in the form of a thin-film.
