Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery is provided to impart improved lifespan characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics to a lithium secondary battery. A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a non-aqueous organic solvent including at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of carbonate solvents, ester solvents, ether solvents and ketone solvents, and a lithium salt dissolved in the non-aqueous organic solvent; and 1-10 parts by weight of pentafluorobenzene represented by the following formula 1 based on 100 parts by weight of the non-aqueous organic solvent.
