A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery is provided to impart improved lifespan characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics to a lithium secondary battery. A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a non-aqueous organic solvent including at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of carbonate solvents, ester solvents, ether solvents and ketone solvents, and a lithium salt dissolved in the non-aqueous organic solvent; and 1-10 parts by weight of pentafluorobenzene represented by the following formula 1 based on 100 parts by weight of the non-aqueous organic solvent.

A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery is provided to impart excellent cycle characteristics to a battery having a cut-off voltage of 4.4V while maintaining the quality of the battery. A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises an organic solvent, a lithium salt, and at least one trifluoroalkyl benzene represented by the following formulae 1 and 2. The bistrifluoroalkyl benzene is used in an amount of 0.01-50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the organic solvent. The organic solvent includes a mixed solvent containing at least one organic cyclic carbonate solvent and at least one organic linear carbonate solvent in a ratio of 1:4-2:2.

본 발명은 리튬전지용 비수전해액에 대한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 리튬염이 0.8 내지 2M로 용해된 유기용매 100 중량부에 테트라에틸렌 설폰아미드를 0.1 내지 10 중량부 첨가하여 제조된 리튬 전지용 비수전해액에 대한 것이며, 본 발명에 의해 고온 방치시 전지의 두께 증가율이 현저히 감소되고, 고온에서의 용량 저장 특성이 향상된 리튬 전지용 비수전해액을 제공할 수 있다.

본 발명의 리튬 이차 전지용 전해질은 리튬염; 비수성 유기용매; 및 하기 화학식 1의 화합물을 포함한다. (1) (상기 식에서 R 1 은 알킬기, 알케닐기, 알키닐기, 아릴기, 및 사이클릭 알킬기로 이루어진 군에서 선택되고, X는 플루오르, 클로르 및 브롬으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 할로겐임) 상기 화학식 1의 화합물은 초충전시 카보네이트계 유기 용매보다 양극 표면에서 먼저 산화 분해하여 양극 표면에 피막을 형성함으로써 만충전후 고온 저장시 전지의 두께 팽창을 억제할 수 있어 전지 세트 장착시 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 과충전시 발열량을 감소시켜 열폭주 현상을 방지하여 전지의 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

PURPOSE: Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte which reduces the swelling of battery at high temperature and improves the safety of battery. A lithium secondary battery comprising the electrolyte is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The electrolyte for lithium secondary battery comprises lithium salt, a non-aqueous organic solvent and a compound represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl and cyclic alkyl and X is a halogen selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine and bromine. The compound of the formula 1 is added in an amount of 0.01 to 10 wt% based on 100 wt% of the electrolyte. The lithium secondary battery comprises the above electrolyte; a cathode comprising lithium intercalation compound as a cathode active material; and an anode comprising carbon, carbon composite, lithium metal and lithium alloy as an anode active material.

PURPOSE: A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium battery is provided, to improve electrochemical reactivity and stability to overcharge, thereby allowing a battery pack to be miniaturized by using no protection circuit or protection device. CONSTITUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution comprises 100 parts by weight of an organic solvent mixture which comprises a cyclic carbonate-based organic solvent and a linear carbonate-based organic solvent and contains 0.8-2 M lithium salt; and 0.1-10.0 parts by weight of a thionaphthene derivative represented by the formula 1, wherein X is a halogen atom and n is an integer of 0-2. Preferably the lithium salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of LiPF6, LiClO4, LiAsF6, LiBF4, BETI and HQ115; the cyclic carbonate-based organic solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate; and the linear carbonate-based organic solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, ethylmethyl carbonate, methylpropyl carbonate and ethylpropyl carbonate.

CONSTITUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution comprises a carbonate-based organic solvent mixture where a lithium salt is dissolved; and 0.1-10 parts by weight of a novolac phenol or multiphenol derivative represented by the formula 1, wherein n is an integer of 0-100,000; and X and Y are H, a halogen atom, an alkyl group of C1-C12, an aryl group of C1-C12, an alkenyl group of C1-C12 or a fluorinated low molecular weight alkyl group or phenyl group.
