CONSTITUTION: A photo-sensitive resin composition for a color filter includes a colorant with a dye represented by chemical formula 1, an acryl-based binder resin, a photopolymerizable monomer, a photo-polymerization initiator, and a solvent. The dissolution of the dye to the solvent is in a range between 3 and 20. The maximum absorption wavelength of the dye is in a range between 400 and 460 nm. The permeability of the dye at the wavelength range of 500-800nm is in a range between 85 and 100%. The thermal decomposition temperature of the dye is in a range between 150 and 400 deg C. The colorant further includes a pigment.
