The present invention relates to a composition for forming an electrode which comprises an aluminum powder; an organic binder; a photopolymerizable monomer; a photoinitiator; first and second glass frits; and a solvent, wherein the first glass frit has a glass transition temperature of 350-440°C and the second glass frit has a glass transition temperature of 450-500°C, to an electrode for a plasma display panel manufactured by using the same, and to a plasma display panel comprising the same. The composition for forming an electrode of the present invention has high membrane density, has excellent adhesion and conductivity with respect to a substrate, and prevents leakage of a gas after adhering an upper panel and a lower panel in a PDP panel.

CONSTITUTION: A composition for fabricating an electrode comprises (a) conductive powder, (b) organic binder, (c) glass frit and (d) solvent. The organic binder(b) comprises a copolymer having an ethylenically unsaturated group to a side chain. The copolymer having the ethylenically unsaturated group to the side chain comprises a copolymer of (b1) C1-10 alkyl(meth)acrylate. PURPOSE: A composition for forming electrode and an electrode formed therefrom are provided to obtain acid-resistance while maintaining fundamental properties of electrode including resistance and line width at sintering temperature of 560-590 deg. Celsius. CONSTITUTION: A composition for forming electrode comprises conductive powder, organic binder, glass frit, and solvent. In the glass frit, 0.5-20 weight% of at least one kind of Sr2O3 and Zr2O3 is included. The glass frit comprises 15-45 weight% of Bi2O3, 25~50 weight% SiO2, 10-25 weight% of B2O3, 1-15 weight% of Al2O3, 0.5-20 weight% of one or more of Sr2O3 and Zr2O3, and 1-20 weight% of ZnO. The glass frit has 3-20:1 weight ratio of at least one of SiO2 : Sr2O3 and Zr2O3.

CONSTITUTION: An electrode forming composition comprises 1-50 weight% of organic vehicle, 30-70 weight% of conductive material, 0.1-20 weight% of glass frit, and 0.1-5 weight% of inorganic filler. The inorganic filter comprises one or more of aluminium oxide, silicon oxide, and zirconium oxide. The organic vehicle comprises an organic binder, a monomer, or an oligomer, a photo initiator, and a solvent. The conductive material comprises one or more of gold(Au), silver(Ag), copper(Cu), aluminum(Al), palladium(Pd), platinum(Pt), chrome(Cr), cobalt(Co), tin(Sn), lead(Pb), zinc(Zn), iron(Fe), iridium(Ir), osmium(Os), rhodium(Rh), tungsten(W), molybdenum(Mo), nickel(Ni), or ITO(indium-Tin-Oxide).
