CONSTITUTION: A radiation protective composition contains DHPC(diphlorethohydroxycarmalol) of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The compound is derived from Ishigeaceae plants. The composition also contains Ishigeaceae plant extract as an active ingredient. The Ishigeaceae plant is Ishige okamurae.
