    Abstract: 본 발명은 배터리팩 조립체 및 이를 사용한 배터리 조립체에 관한 것으로, 배터리 조립체에서 충방전 중에 발생하는 열을 외부로 원활하게 제거할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 본 발명에서는 배터리팩 조립체(10)를 구성하는 다수개의 배터리팩(14)의 사이에 발포금속으로 만들어진 방열부재(20)를 설치한다. 상기 방열부재(20)는 발포금속으로 만들어져 내부에 기공들이 형성되어 있다. 상기 방열부재(20)는 상기 배터리팩(14)의 사이에 위치되는 판형상의 몸체부(22)와 상기 배터리팩(14) 사이의 외부로 노출되는 노출부(24)로 구성된다. 상기 노출부(24)는 배터리 조립체(30)의 케이스(31) 내에 설치되었을 때, 내부유로(41)상에 위치되어 케이스(31)의 유입구(38)를 통해 들어온 공기와 직접 또는 간접적으로 접촉하여 열을 배출할 수 있게 된다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면 차량에서 사용되는 배터리 조립체(30)의 충방전시에 발생하는 열을 외부로 보다 원활하게 배출할 수 있게 되어 배터리 조립체(30)의 동작특성이 좋아지는 이점이 있다.
