Abstract: A novel pheromonal odorant is provided to be easily synthesized, thereby a composition comprising the same compound improving breeding efficiency through estrus synchronization of pig stably and economically and increasing the efficiency of pig farming management by decreasing labor force. A tetrahydrofuran based compound is represented by a formula(1). A composition for inducing estrus of pig or cow comprises the tetrahydrofuran based compound as an effective ingredient.
