CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an oriental medicinal material with anticancer activity comprises the steps of: reacting non-arsenic minerals and Erigeron Canadensis L. mixed in a weight ratio of 0.7:1-1:0.7; inputting the mixture into a pottery and sealing; and heating the pottery. PURPOSE: A vaccine for preventing H5N1 serotype highly pathogenic avian influenza is provided to prevent recurrence of H5type and disease. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing H5N1 serotype highly pathogenic avian influenza virus strain(KCTC 11405BP) comprises: a step of amplifying a highly pathogenic gene from A/Vietnam/1203/2004 (H5N1) strain; a step of transforming by recombination of the gene; a third step of amplifying the gene from A/PR/8/34 (H1N1); a step of culturing plasmid in Vero cells; and a step of inoculating culture supernatant to specific pathogen free(SPF) a hatching egg. The H5N1 serotype highly pathogenic avian influenza virus strain(KCTC 11405BP) contains the highly pathogen-inducing gene. The gene contains HA, NA, PB2, PB1, PA, NP, M and NS.

PURPOSE: A linear double strand RNA molecule reducing expression of different target genes is provided to induce gene silence regardless of inversion orientation of siRNA. CONSTITUTION: A linear double strand RNA molecule contains 2-10 short interference RNAs(siRNA) which are serially connected. The siRNA comprises 18-24 nucleotides. The linear double strand RNA molecule contains two successive siRNAs. Each strand contains two 3'-terminal nucleotides which is not formed in base pair. A recombinant expression vector comprises double strand DNA sequence expressing the linear double strand RNA molecule. The expression of a target gene is suppressed by introducing the recombinant expression vector and linear type double strand RNA molecule in cells.

The present invention relates to a novel use of a Potentilla chinensis SER extract for effectively preventing and treating an influenza viral infection. The Potentilla chinensis SER according to the present invention has excellent effects in decreasing and controlling the proliferation of influenza viruses such as the human infectious disease highly pathogenic influenza virus (A/Vietnam/HN36285/2010 H5N1), the new flu virus (A/California/07/2009 H1N1), the seasonal flu virus (A/Wisconsin/15/09 H3N2), or the seasonal flu virus (B/Brisbane/60/2008) so as to be usefully used as an agent for treating influenza. The Potentilla chinensis SER extract is stable in vivo so as to be used as a material for a functional health food.
