Abstract:
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided is a catalyst for decomposition of toxic compounds including polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin/polychlorinated dibenzofuran, polychlorinated biphenyl, chlorinated benzene, chlorinated phenyl, nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds. The present catalyst displays optimal catalytic activity in the temperature range of 200 to 350°C in 5-31vol.% oxygen atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst is prepared by wash-coating 6-12wt.% of TiO2 and 10-30wt.% of Al2O3 on the surface of a cordierite honeycomb(based on the total weight of the catalyst) and supporting a complex substrate of the cordierite-titanium dioxide-alumina with 1-6wt.% of V, based on the weight of titanium dioxide, and sequently the complex substrate is dried at the temperatures of 100 to 300°C and calcined at the temperatures of 400 to 600°C for 1-5 hours. The preparation of the catalyst further includes, before above drying and calcination process, the step of supporting at least one metal or metal oxides selected from Mo, W, Pd, and their oxides on the complex substrate. The amount of these metals or metal oxides is less than 9wt.% based on the weight of titanium dioxide.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method of flavonoid-based phenol compounds with enhanced antioxidant, lightening, and antibacterial activity by a low temperature atmospheric pressure plasma treatment. The present invention can improve a physiological functionality of vegetable flavonoid-based phenol compounds by using the plasma treatment. Therefore, the flavonoid-based phenol compounds with enhanced physiological functionality can be used for functional foods having antioxidant and lightening capabilities; a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of disease generated by an oxidation process of active oxygen; and the manufacture of an antibacterial product and a cosmetic product.
