Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for treating obesity-induced inflammation, wherein the composition contains S-aryl cysteine as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention induces the expression of adiponectin and decreases the expression of IL-6 and MCP-1 which are involved in obesity-mediated inflammation reaction so that obesity-induced inflammation can be prevented and treated.
