Abstract: An interface apparatus using a virtual multi touch screen are provided to recognize a control operation corresponding to an image inputted through a virtual multi-touch point screen and execute a control command corresponding to the control operation. A display processing device(100) provides a virtual multi-touch point screen. When an operation event occurs through the virtual multi-touch point screen, an image interface processing device(200) segments the inputted image into the portions for the virtual multi-touch point screen and the body portions. Abstract: An embedded system and a power management method thereof are provided to minimize unnecessary power consumption by operating in a power saving mode when the embedded system is not used and prevent malfunction of the embedded system due to motion noise. An embedded system for minimizing power consumption comprises a motion detecting unit(10), an operating mode determining unit(20), a processing unit(30), and a power supply unit(40). The motion detecting unit detects physical motion of the system to generate a motion signal. The operating mode determining unit analyzes a motion signal according to an effective motion condition and effective time of the motion signal to check whether the system is used. The operating mode determining unit generates a control signal for setting or requesting a power saving mode. The processing unit sets and releases the power saving mode according to the control signal. The power supply unit supplies power to the motion detecting unit, the operating mode determining unit and the processing unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for deleting and recovering a file preparing for a system failure on a DBMS(DataBase Management System) is provided to destroy the file safely and record a process preparing for the system failure generated during a file deleting process, and to recover a uncompleted file return error on the file return formed by repeated non-atomic operations during the system failure. CONSTITUTION: If the file to be deleted is found in a pending action list, the atomic recording of each allocation unit for the non-atomic file deletion is performed(S802). An address of the last log record at the time is stored in a main memory by setting up the NTA after receiving the allocation of the file to be deleted from the list(S802). The atomic recording steps(S811-814) of the allocation unit are repeated until no more return allocation unit is found in the deleted file. If all allocation units are returned, a file deletion log including a file discriminator is recorded to the log, and the corresponding discriminator is returned to the system(S815).
