Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for visualizing buoyancy under microgravity environment is provided to enable a test, which is usually performed in a space, on the ground by simulating the microgravity environment of actual space. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for visualizing buoyancy under microgravity environment comprises a falling tower (100), a test bed (200), a smoke generating part, a camera, and an attaching and detaching member (120). The falling tower has a vertical falling passage (150). The test bed falls down along the falling passage of the falling tower and has an inner space. The smoke generating part is installed on the inner bottom of the test bed and generates smoke to the top. The camera photographs the inside of the test bed. The detaching member is installed on the top of the falling passage and attaches and detaches the test bed to/from the top of the falling passage.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A traveling device of a rover is provided to reduce torque and electricity necessary for overcoming an obstacle by rotating a plurality of links around each connection spindle. CONSTITUTION: A connection part is fixed to the side of a main body(100). A rotation link(220) is combined with a connection part or the main body. A support link(230) is formed at both ends of the rotation link. The support link moves up and down according to a state of the ground surface. A fixed link(240) connects an upper end of the support link with the connection part. A driving wheel(250) is formed in a lower end of the support link.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A travelling device of a rover is provided to reduce the weight of a space shuttle when the rover is mounted in the space shuttle to explore planets. CONSTITUTION: A main body of a rover is formed in a platform(100). A plurality of driving modules supports the platform. The driving module includes a connection part, a first link(220), a second link(230), a third link(240) and a driving part. The driving part operates the platform. As the first link, the second link, and the third link rotate around each connection shaft, the links fold the driving module.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for measuring mass under a microgravity environment. The system for measuring mass under a microgravity environment comprises: an electronic magnet; a platform where a sample to be measured is fixated, which includes a first permanent magnet at a position corresponding to the electronic magnet, and which horizontally moves along a moving guide by repulsive power of the electronic magnet and the first permanent magnet; a position sensor which senses that the platform passes a preset specific position; an actuating device which turns on/off the actuation of the electronic magnet; and a central controller which calculates current applied to move the electronic magnet to the specific position based on voltage received from the actuating device, and calculates the mass of the sample by substituting the current into below: m_t=I_t/I_s(m_s+m_p)-m_p In the above , m_t indicates the mass of the sample, I_s indicates the current applied to the electronic magnet when measuring standard mass, m_s indicates the standard mass, and m_p indicates platform mass.

Abstract: A mass measuring system and a method for the same are provided to increase accuracy and efficiency of space experiments by measuring exact mass of animal and plant rapidly and accurately. In a mass measuring system, a standard mass(25) is installed with a diameter different from a rotation center of an object(10) to be measured. A rotation driving device rotates the object to be measured and the standard mass. First and second load cells(21) are connected to the object to be measured and the standard mass to output a sensing signal by sensing centrifugal force due to a rotational movement. The diameters of the first and the second load cells are different from each other from the rotation center of the rotation driving device.
