Abstract: PURPOSE: An underwater measurement device for the vertical profiling of a water column is provided to continuously observe vertical spaces in the sea while a buoyancy member having observation sensors ascends or descends on a heavy object by fixing the buoyancy member capable of repetitively ascending and descending even in strong tidal current on the heavy object. CONSTITUTION: An underwater measurement device for the vertical profiling of a water column comprises a fixing part(20), a connection wire(50), and a buoyancy member. The fixing part comprises a weight(22) installed on the seabed and an anchor(24) connected to the weight. The bottom of the connection wire is connected to the weight by an anti-twist rotary ring(60). The buoyancy member comprises a housing, a connection part(36), a buoyancy engine(32), and an observation sensor part(40). A vertical blade(31A) and a horizontal blade are formed on the exterior of the rear side of the housing. The connection part is arranged in one end of the housing to connect to the rotary ring of the connection wire. The buoyancy engine is installed in the rear inner part of the housing. The observation sensor part is installed in the rear inner part of the housing.
