    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a photosensitive film for helium-neon laser scanner printing which has excellent printing properties of a high solubility and a high contrast without fog and method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive film is formed by applying a silver halide particles-containing photographic emulsion on a polyester film backing having an anti-halation layer applied, followed by drying. The silver halide particles-containing photographic emulsion comprises silver chloride 70 to 75 mole% and silver bromide 25 to 30 mole%. The silver halide particles have a size of 0.25 to 0.3 micrometer and a hexahedron shape. The photographic emulsion further contains an anti-fog agent of polyoxyethylene type and a sensitivity enhancer of quinoline and benzoselenazole types.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A medical silver halogen photographic emulsion and an infrared film containing the emulsion for the MRI diagnosis are provided, wherein the emulsion is applied to the film the MRI diagnosis having high contrast, high resolution and sensitivity in an infrared range of 680-810 nm. CONSTITUTION: The silver halogen photographic emulsion is prepared by dispersing micro crystal particle of silver halogen to gelatin, wherein the emulsion is prepared by adding ammonia silver nitrated solution by a back mixing method, washing it to obtain 2-3 mol% of silver iodide, to obtain regular square-shaped silver halogen with an average size of 0.45-0.55 micrometers, and adding potassium iodine as a fog generation preventer and an intensifier dye absorbing the light of a wavelength of 680-810 nm. Preferably the washing is carried out by precipitation method in the case of polycarbamyl gelatin, and by noodle method or sulfate coagulation method in the case of bone gelatin.

CONSTITUTION: The process contains the steps of: injecting an ammonia-silver nitrate solution into a solution of potassium bromide and gelatin at 38-42deg.C by a single injection method to prepare seeds with 0.05-0.08 micrometer and then washing; injecting potassium bromide and the ammonia-silver nitrate solution into the resultant by a double injection method to prepare a 100% silver bromide photographic emulsion having a round particle size distribution of 0.6-1.0 micrometer; injecting additives into the photographic emulsion and adding 1-4wt%(based on the photographic emulsion and the protecting agent) of a surfactant being an alcohol ethyloxylate 5, 50, 9, a fluorine fluorad, or a mixture thereof, respectively; spreading the photographic emulsion and the protecting agent on both sides of the blue polyester film and then drying.
