상기 조건만족판단단계에서 차량 정지상태 조건을 모두 만족하는 경우 엔진의 회전수(RPM)를 아이들(Idle)시에 대해 50% 이상으로 급격히 상승시켜 엔진에서 소모하지 못한 잔존 연료를 신속히 소모한 다음 엔진을 정지시켜 키오프 상태로 전환하는 시동오프단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다.
