Abstract: A dual communication device in a telematics terminal and a method thereof are provided to enable a dual communication mode to be provided in a handsfree kit, thereby improving a voice recognition rate and providing a communication service of superior quality not including noise in general communication. A dual communication device in a telematics terminal comprises the followings: a microphone(100) for inputting a voice of a user; a keypad(300); a terminal control module(230) which controls the whole operations for a communication service in the telematics terminal(600) and decides and controls a path of a voice inputted in the microphone(100) according to a key signal applied from the keypad(300); a switching module(210) for selecting a dual communication mode according as a contact is selected according to a control signal applied from the terminal control module(230); and a noise remover(220) which removes noise and echo components included in the voice inputted through a communication path of the switching module(210) in a voice call mode.
