Abstract: A rubber composition for wiper blades is provided to realize excellent wipe-out characteristics while maintaining mechanical properties including hardness, tensile strength and elongation, and to prevent ozone generation under the sunlight. A rubber composition for wiper blades comprises: 100 parts by weight of a rubber blend containing natural rubber and chloroprene rubber in a weight ratio of 60:40-95:5; 40-50 parts by weight of carbon black containing carbon black with a particle diameter of 40-48 nm and carbon black with a particle diameter of 26-30 nm in a weight ratio of 60:40-96:5; 3-5 parts by weight of a rubber softening agent; 0.5-2.5 parts by weight of a sulfur crosslinking agent; 3-5 parts by weight of a crosslinking activator; 0.5-2 parts by weight of a crosslinking accelerator containing N-t-butyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenamide and tetramethylthiuram disulfide and dithio dimorpholine in a weight ratio of 20:30:50-30:40:30; 1-1.5 parts by weight of an antioxidant containing 2-mercaptobenzimidazole and 2,2'-methylene-bis(4-methyl- 6-t-butylphenol) in a weight ratio of 35:65-55:45; and 1.5-2.5 parts by weight of an ozone anti-aging agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A rocker cover gasket composition for plastic and its preparation method are provided, to minimize the heat deformation, thereby improving the heat resistance, the engine oil resistance, the compression set and the stress alleviation and reducing the leakage. CONSTITUTION: The rocker cover gasket composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a polymer resin; 20-25 parts by weight of medium abrasion furnace carbon black; 20-30 parts by weight of semi-reinforcing furnace carbon black; 0.8-1.2 parts by weight of a carboxyl group-containing curing agent. Preferably the carboxyl group-containing curing agent is HCOOH. The method comprises the steps of heating the composition at 180 deg.C for 30 sec to 6 min; reheating the composition at 180 deg.C for 3 hours and 50 min to 5 hours; and compression molding the heated one.
