Abstract: A bead height control device for a press is provided to prevent a crack by decreasing force of a bead during early stage of molding and to prevent wrinkling of a panel by increasing force of the bead during molding. A bead height control device for a press, includes first to third hydraulic pressure transfer units(60,70,80) and a bead(52). The first hydraulic pressure transfer unit is coupled to a lower surface of a die face(51) of a blank holder(50) supported by a cushion pin. The second hydraulic pressure transfer unit is connected to the first hydraulic pressure transfer unit through a hose(90), and transfers hydraulic pressure to the first hydraulic pressure transfer unit. The third hydraulic pressure transfer unit is connected to the first and second hydraulic pressure transfer units through a hose, and receives hydraulic pressure from the second hydraulic pressure transfer unit. The bead is mounted on the first hydraulic pressure transfer unit, and protruded from the die face of the blank holder by the hydraulic pressure transferred to the first hydraulic pressure transfer unit.

Abstract: A piercing press is provided to form a piercing hole finely by moving forward and turning a piercing punch mounted to an actuating cam to an inclined part of a panel placed between an upper pad and a lower die with a pneumatic motor. A piercing press is composed of a lower die(5) supporting a lower part of a panel(p), an upper die(1) moving up and down in an upper part of the lower die, an upper pad(3) mounted in a lower part of the upper die by a cushion spring and composed of a guide hole, an inclination block mounted at a side of the lower die, an actuating cam(7) installed by inserting a restoring unit to an upper part of the inclination block and composed of a piercing punch(19), and an operating driver(25) mounted in the lower part of the upper die to operate the actuating cam. The piercing punch is mounted to the actuating cam by a rotating unit with operation pressure, and the rotating unit is connected to an operation pressure supply unit. The operation pressure supply unit regulates supply of operation pressure to the rotating unit according to signals in detecting operation of the cam by a cam operation detecting unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A panel transferring device is provided to perform a panel transferring process after correcting absorption errors by detecting the absorption errors of the panel by using vacuum cups at any time. CONSTITUTION: A panel transferring device using vacuum cups(20) is composed of a supporting member(10) for supporting panels(11); the vacuum cup mounted to the front end of the supporting member to absorb panels; an air hose(30) for supplying and sucking in air for the absorption and detachment of the vacuum cup; and a flow sensor(40) installed to the air hose to sense the flow of air. The vacuum cup arranged to the front end of the supporting member absorbs and transfers the panels to a desired position and operates with the suction and supply of air through the air hose connected to the vacuum cup. When the flow of air is detected during the absorption operations of the vacuum cup, the flow sensor mounted to the predetermined position of the air hose connected with the vacuum cup decides the flow of air as absorption errors of the vacuum cup and the panel, stops the panel transferring process, and then transfers the panels again after correcting the errors.
