Abstract: PURPOSE: Water jacket cores for cylinder block casting are provided which improve assembling property without core prints using a head face core during assembling of a mold. CONSTITUTION: In water jacket cores(1) for cylinder block casting which are assembled between bore cores and front, rear, left and right side cores, the water jacket cores(1) for cylinder block casting are integrally formed on the lower surface of a head face core(5) through a connection part along the upper circumferential surface thereof, wherein the connection part is consisted of connection cores(7) forming a cooling water passage connected to a cylinder head water jacket, wherein four cylindrical water jacket cores(1) are integrally connected with each other, protrusion parts(3) are formed at the lower part of the side direction of the two water jacket cores(1) to secure a space for cooling water inlet and outlet passages, the upper part of the water jacket cores(1) is integrally manufactured by molding sand on the lower surface of the head face core(5) through the connection cores(7) that are connection parts along the circumferential surface of the water jacket cores(1), and the connection cores(7) form cooling water passages connected to the cylinder head water jacket.
