Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel emission quantity measuring device for LNG(liquefied natural gas) fuel tank is provided to accurately measure the emission quantity of LNG fuel, exhausted to atmosphere, by using the voltage which occurs when piston approaches to a coil. CONSTITUTION: A fuel emission quantity measuring device for LNG(liquefied natural gas) fuel tank comprises an LNG fuel tank, a relief valve unit(200), and a valve sensing unit(300). The LNG fuel tank stores the LNG fuel as liquid. A BOG(Boil of Gas) exhaust port is formed in one side of the LNG fuel tank. The relief valve unit is installed in the BOG exhaust port of the LNG fuel tank. The relief valve unit is operated according to the pressure of the LNG fuel vaporized in the LNG fuel tank part. The relief valve unit discharges the vaporized LNG fuel to the atmosphere from the LNG fuel tank. The valve sensing unit is electrically connected to the relief valve unit and detects the operation of the relief valve unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An LNG storage tank for a vehicle is provided to prevent a weathering phenomenon by accurately measuring the amount of fuel in a storage tank and removing the heat transfer factor into the tank. CONSTITUTION: An LNG storage tank for a vehicle comprises a housing(100), an ultrasonic generator, an ultrasonic receiver and a control unit. The housing is arranged widthwise and stores LNG. The ultrasonic generator generates ultrasonic wave with a given cycle of vibration on the floor of the housing. The ultrasonic receiver is located on the floor of the housing and receives ultrasonic wave from the ultrasonic generator. The control unit communicates with the ultrasonic generator and the ultrasonic receiver and senses the generated ultrasonic-wave and the received ultrasonic-wave. The control unit calculates the level of LNG using a function using the sound-wave transfer speed of the LNG, the transfer time of ultrasonic wave between the ultrasonic generator and the ultrasonic receiver, and the distance between them.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure for a fuel cap is provided to prevent the fuel from leaking and to prevent foreign materials from coming in a fuel tank by forming a double preventing structure for opening the cap. CONSTITUTION: A hinged shaft(3) is protruded upward to an outer surface of a fuel-injecting pipe(1). A locking projection(2) is protruded to the outer surface of the fuel-injecting pipe opposite to the hinged shaft. A fuel cap(12) as a disc shape opens and shuts an inlet of the fuel-injecting pipe. A connecting portion(13) of the fuel cap is protruded from an upper middle portion to be hinged to a lever(9). A cover(4) receives the fuel cap. Operating and supporting ends(11,10) of the lever are hinged to the connecting portion of the fuel cap. A tip of the operating end is hinged to an upper side of the hanging link. A tip of the supporting end is hinged to the hinged shaft. A prop(6) has a convex profile to receive a middle portion of the lever. The connecting portion and the lever are hinged to the prop. Wings are formed to both sides of the prop. A spring(8) is fixed to an upper portion of the cover in an upper side and to the wing of the prop in a lower side. Therein, the prop and the cover maintain a specific gap. A rubber contacting portion(14) is formed to a lower surface of the fuel cap to be attached closely to an open surface of the fuel injecting pipe. Therefore, the fuel cap is prevented from leaking, and foreign materials do not intrude into a fuel tank.
