Abstract: PURPOSE: A gasket for an exhaust pipe is provided to reduce airflow noise of a particular frequency band by forming a resonance chamber to the gasket when an exhaust gas from an engine is discharged through the exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION: In a gasket(20) interposed in a flange outwardly protruded at both end parts of an exhaust pipe(13) and coupled by bolts(15), a resonance chamber(21) is formed to the inner circumference of the gasket and is communicated with a flow passage of exhaust gas via a guide hole(22) so as to reduce airflow noise. The diameter of the guide hole is smaller than that of the resonance chamber.
