Abstract: PURPOSE: A waste gas path control device is provided to increase flue efficiency by expanding the path area of the waste gas path when an engine operates in a high speed out of an emission area. CONSTITUTION: A waste gas path control device comprises a waste gas path(4) and a path area controlling unit. Exhaust gas exhausted flows in a catalytic converter(3) from a turbocharger(2). The path area controlling unit controls the exhaust gas path area of the flow path. The path area controlling unit includes a control valve(5). The control valve has a valve body(5a). The valve body is inserted to the flow path and reduces the path area. The valve body backs to the outside of the flow path and expands the path area.

Abstract: 본 발명은 엔진이 이미션 영역에서 저속으로 운전될 때에는 웨이스트 게이트 터보차저와 웜 업 촉매컨버터 사이의 배기가스 유로의 통로면적을 좁게 하는 반면에 엔진이 이미션 영역을 벗어나서 고속으로 운전될 때에는 배기가스 유로의 통로면적을 넓게 하여 연비를 향상시키도록 한 배기가스 유로 조절장치를 제공하기 위해, 터보차저에서 배출되는 배기가스가 직각으로 방향 전환하여 촉매컨버터로 유입되게 하는 배기가스 유로와, 이 유로의 배기가스 통로면적을 조절하는 통로면적 조절수단을 구비한다.
