Abstract: The present invention relates to a hood safety hook which includes a lever unit mounted in the hood panel of a vehicle, a catcher prepared in a vehicle body, a hook unit which is mounted in the hood panel and is caught on the catcher according to a movement, and a cable which connects the lever unit to the hook unit and moves the hook unit by being linked with the lover unit, thereby facilitating the change of a safety hook lever during a vehicle collision and reducing injuries of a pedestrian.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An active hood device for a vehicle is provided to absorb impacts applying to pedestrians by ascending the front end of a hood with the rear end of the hood in order to push up the pedestrians when the vehicle and the pedestrians collide. CONSTITUTION: An active hood device for a vehicle comprises a main frame(10), a hood latch assembly(20), and a latch actuator(30). The main frame is fixed on the vehicle body. The hood latch assembly is mounted on the main frame to be lifted. The hood latch assembly locks and unlocks the front end of the hood. The latch actuator ascends the latch assembly depending on the control signal of a controller which receives impact detecting signals from an impact detecting sensor. The latch actuator is mounted in between the main frame and the hood latch assembly. The latch actuator comprises an electromagnet assembly(60) to assist the operation of the latch actuator.
