Abstract: A variable turbocharger and a control method thereof are provided to improve output by preventing turbo lag phenomenon in low speed and securing the inflow section of exhaust gas in the high speed. A variable turbocharger comprises a turbine housing(310), a first scroll(314), a second scroll(316), a cut-out part, and a flow control valve(320). The first scroll is formed within the turbine housing. The exhaust gas passes through the turbine(312) and is flowed out. The second scroll is formed around the first scroll along the first scroll. The cut-out part changeably separates the first scroll and the second scroll. The flow control valve changeably blocks the exhaust gas flowed into the second scroll.

Abstract: PURPOSE: The throttle, the variable valve timing, and the variable mechanism for the pumping reduction are controlled so that the intake negative pressure increases and brake performance can be satisfied. CONSTITUTION: A controller for the negative pressure of a vehicle brake comprises: an information detector for detecting a deceleration driving condition or an idle driving condition; a controlling unit which increases variable valve lift and closes the entrance of a throttle; an actuator which controls the variable valve lift, the entrance of the throttle, and variable valve timing overlap.
